  • Disaster Response in Action Planet Water Foundation has mobilized to support communities in La Union, Philippines, devastated by Typhoon Co-may (Emong). This weekend, our team deployed the first AquaBlock emergency water filtration system in Calincamasan Barangay, San Juan — turning contaminated well water into safe, clean water for drinking, cooking, and bathing. As families begin the difficult process of rebuilding, access to safe water is a critical first step toward recovery. #DisasterRelief #safewater #TyphoonRelief #emergencyresponse #cleanwater #launion #aquablock #typhoonemong #EmongPH

  • Disaster Response Activation: Typhoon Co-may Last week, Typhoon Co-may struck the Philippines after more than a week of severe weather, causing flooding and mass evacuations. Over 80 towns and cities - mostly in Luzon - have declared a state of calamity. In La Union Province, the hardest-hit area, electricity and water supplies are down, and tens of thousands are displaced in evacuation camps across San Fernando, San Juan, and Bacnotan. Authorities warn that within days, communities will face serious drinking water shortages. Planet Water Foundation's Disaster Response Team is on the ground and preparing to deploy water filtration systems to provide clean, safe drinking water to those affected. More updates to follow. #Philippines #DisasterResponse #DisasterRelief #typhoon

  • In the village of Periobelapuram, Tamil Nadu, India, an 8th grade student named Sanjana dreams of a future where she can give back to her parents - daily wage earners who’ve taught her that education is the path to a better life. 💙 💬 “One day, when I grow up, I want to solve my parents' financial problems.” But missing school due to waterborne illness made that dream feel out of reach. 💬 “Sometimes I am not able to come to school because I get sick and my stomach hurts... I think it is because we do not have clean drinking water.” That changed when Planet Water installed a clean water filtration system and delivered Water-Health and Hygiene education at her school. 💬 "From today onwards, I will not get sick and I will not miss my school either." Clean water is more than a resource. It’s hope. It’s opportunity. • Two AquaTowers. Hundreds of Futures. One Big Change. In the communities of San Juan Jalpa and Paseos de la Pradera, Mexico, change has arrived - and it’s more than just a water filtration system. It's dignity delivered in a glass of clean water. It's equity in every classroom. It's peace of mind for parents. With the installation of AquaTower filtration systems at Ignacio Zaragoza School and Club de Niños y Niñas, more than 360 students (and their communities) now have access to safe drinking water - every single day. 💙💧 #mexico #cleanwater #WaterIsLife #safewater #wash

  • Helping kids stay healthy starts with clean hands! At Planet Water Foundation, we don’t just provide access to clean water - we also teach the importance of hygiene in every school we support. During our Water-Health and Hygiene Education programs, students discover when and why to wash their hands - because knowing when to wash is just as important as how to wash. Students learn to wash their hands: 1. Before eating 2. After using the bathroom 🚻 3. After coughing, sneezing, or blowing their nose 🤧 4. When hands look dirty 🤲 5. After playing outside 🏃♀️ 6. After handling trash 🗑️ These simple habits help prevent illness, protect families, and build healthier communities. 🧼 #HygieneEducation #CleanHands #HealthyHabits #Handwashing #WASH
