Quick game of two truths and a lie, except all of them are true: (1) I got hooked on powerlifting two years ago because I thought it'd be funny to see how long it'd take to beat my wife's state lifting records from when she was in high school. It took me four months to outlift a 17-year-old girl, and I'm now part of the 1,000-pound club. (2) I've been in the sales world the last 3.5 years after taking a hard left turn from a decade in ministry & nonprofits. (3) LinkedIn has been a huge part of my success in SaaS. Before I started, I had less than 500 connections. Now, I'm just shy of 6,000, and it's never taken me more than two months to find a new role.
