Moov makes it easy for businesses to issue, accept, store, and disburse money.

About us

Moov makes it easy for businesses to accept, store, send, and spend – all in one platform. Gone are the days of stitching together multiple vendors to move money. While most payment providers only handle part of the payment picture, Moov orchestrates the entire money movement story from start to finish, giving software companies visibility and control over the whole experience. As a modern money movement platform, Moov offers a simple, powerful, and scalable way to integrate payments into products. Moov is uniquely a payment Processor, issuer, registered PayFac, program manager, and technology provider, making it an all-in-one payment solution for businesses wanting to facilitate complex money movement as quickly and securely as possible.

🚨 First look at the #fintechdevcon 2025 agenda (and wow, what a lineup!). We received a record number of talk submissions this year, and while we can’t add everyone to the agenda, we want to send a sincere thank-you to every builder who raised their hand. Submitting a talk takes guts. We saw you, and we’re grateful. 🙏 This year’s speakers are #engineers, #product minds, #data experts, and #fintech founders sharing what works (and what doesn’t). The schedule is action-packed, and we’re just getting started: 👀 Check out our speakers 🎤 See our first keynote drop (oh hi, Harsh Sinha from Wise) 📅 Peep the sessions, then wish you could clone yourself to attend them all 👇

With 48 hours notice Wade Arnold gathered 50 hardcore payment nerds for a lovely (very geeky) dinner. (The fact that Angela Strange co-hosted might have helped a little.) I had a great time tonight. So many interesting conversations: a few of my assumptions were challenged, I gathered data points to support other hypothesis, made new connections, and had some lovely reunions. Thank you both 🙏

7️⃣ days until Moov's fintech_devcon Let me tell you why this thing matters. Years ago, Wade Arnold was sitting in a small room at OSCON with maybe 40 people. One of them was James Gosling. Yeah, that James Gosling—the guy who invented Java. As Wade describe it to me: "He was just… talking. Like we were colleagues. Like we were all in the trenches together. And I remember thinking: “Oh shit, fintech needs one of these." Because what I was used to were those mega Vegas hotel conferences. 15,000 people. Corporate booths, badge scanners, DJs, branded water bottles. A blur of logos and lead gen. But that room at OSCON? That was real. It was intimate. It was builders teaching builders. Sharing scars. Asking questions. Giving real answers. Making friends who turned into co-founders, advisors, mentors. It was my tribe. The folks I met back then? They’re now running product at OpenAI. Leading engineering at Confluent. Building the infra that powers half the damn internet. Not because they were chasing clout. But because they showed up. They got in the room. They shared openly. They listened deeply. And they never stopped building." That’s the same DNA Wade Arnold had in mind when he created Fintech DevCon. A conference that doesn’t feel like a conference. No sales. No fluff. No enterprise bingo.Just: ▪️ Live coding sessions. ▪️ CTOs walking through real blockers and solutions. ▪️ 4-level deep technical convos where acronyms go to thrive. ▪️ After event dinners where nobody pitches you—because everyone’s too busy nerding out. This isn’t a "networking opportunity." It’s not for LinkedIn influencers. It’s for you—the ones knee-deep in the hardest technical problems in fintech. If you want to be in the room where it actually happens? We’ll see you August 4–6 in Denver. 👉 https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.pfintechdevcon.io #FintechDevCon #fintech #developers #builders #payments #infra #devrel Chris Maurice Cici Northup Josh Alexander, CFA Maia Bittner Andrea Keating Kelley C. Four weeks ago, we hired Johnny Moreland as our Head of Revenue. Three weeks in, he calls me and says - "I'm comfortable with the product now, I'll start calling my network." That afternoon, he got a meeting scheduled with a dream client I had been chasing for years. Over the last week, he got us meetings with more logos I'd have to cut off my pinky finger for during the interview process. (Founders are stupid) I've always said, "Get me in the room and we'll close every deal. We have every payment rail, via one integration, embedded into the customer's user experience. It removes all the complexity of multi-channel payments, and nobody else can do it." That's true, but the Moov feature list doesn't get us into a deal. I respect that Johnny didn't make a single phone call until he had vetted what I said was true. Regardless of your employer, always keep your integrity. Be a Johnny and validate the reality from the hype. People do business with people.

There’s nothing more special than an intimate dinner shared with friends, new and old. We’re truly honored to have spent an evening with such an incredible group of people. Thank you for making the night one to remember. Conversations like these remind us why we do what we do. Until next time!

It was a pleasure to hang out last night at the Moov x a16z networking dinner—thank you to Wade Arnold, the Moov team, a16z Fintech, and Angela Strange for the warm welcome and thoughtful conversations. I had the privilege of hosting Wade back in 2021 on the FINTECHTALK show, just as he was launching Moov alongside other emerging fintech/financial services leaders (summary link below). Fast forward to today, and it’s incredible to see how far Moov has come in reimagining the payment and treasury infrastructure stack. Moov is pioneering a new standard—replacing legacy middleware and fragmented bank integrations with developer-first, cloud-native payment primitives. With its modern API platform and vision for embedded finance and potentially OBO (on-behalf-of) services, Moov is enabling regional and community banks to level the playing field with larger institutions. This shift empowers banks and platforms to deliver faster, more reliable money movement and treasury services—ultimately benefiting both consumers and businesses. Exciting times ahead for next-gen financial infrastructure and looking forward to having Wade back on the show to talk (maybe a redo with the same gang of Peter Hazlehurst, Matt Michaelis, Howard Klein et al) about the next 4 years and journey to becoming a decacorn https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.plnkd.in/eg5TsiRY Johnny Moreland Ben Metz Zahir Khoja Erin McCune Joseph (Joe) Salesky Bhaskar Krishnan Ram Gollamudi Sonia Nigam Rex Salisbury

The MVP version of our Tap to Pay was taking 11 seconds (I refused to ship it). Two more weeks of dev work and here's what we're shipping. In the words of the great Ricky Bobby, "Momma, I wanna go fast." That's who Moov is.

People thought that banks processing payments at scale (outside of reliance on the card networks), was like building a flying car. Last month, we processed 700 million pay-by-bank transactions, which is more than any real time payment rail in the US. At Fintech Devcon this year, I’m giving a master class on how we did it. Specifically, I’ll break down the technical process of building a high-speed, high-availability ledger for banks - one that has grown from zero transactions five years ago to 700 million pay-by-bank transactions per month today. Honestly, as a geek, I never imagined a ledger could be so complex and tricky from a software design perspective. When you reach this scale, incredible and unexpected corner cases happen every single day. For those who don't know me, I'm Carlos Netto, the CEO of Matera. Our core banking software is used by: 2 of the top 3 global banks.  3 of the top 10 US banks 1/3rd of all banks in Brazil. 90 million bank accounts now run on our software. When Wade Arnold reached out to ask me to speak at Fintech Meetup, I was honored (and a bit giddy) because there's a talk I've been wanting to give this talk for for a long time. I hope to see you there.
