Molina Healthcare of Florida announced a donation of $30,000 to Branches, Inc., a Miami-Dade County nonprofit providing free financial services to individuals and families. The funding will support the organization’s financial coaching services, which help over 450 Floridians each year. Molina Healthcare of Nevada recently presented a $50,000 grant to Northern Nevada HOPES (HOPES). Our funding will support a maternity health pilot program for mothers experiencing opioid use disorder. Infants exposed to opioids in the womb can face health consequences and adverse developmental outcomes, making this program an important tool to support the well-being of mothers and infants in Nevada. Through this partnership, we're working with HOPES to create strong communities and healthier outcomes from the very beginning. #CommittedToNevada

We recently sponsored the NAMI Cabarrus Sharing Hope Initiative Series, in collaboration with Big E Life Changers. This three-part series created safe, supportive spaces for community conversations around mental well-being in Black and Brown communities, featuring guided discussions and professional support. With only 1 in 3 Black adults receiving the mental health treatment they need, and mental health support often facing lingering stigmas in communities of color, initiatives like these are vital. Molina Healthcare of Nevada is thrilled to expand a longstanding partnership with Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation (NNCCF) through the announcement of a new $25,000 grant partnership. Since 2022, Molina has donated $175,000 to NNCCF, helping Nevada families and patients overcome the financial and emotional challenges of childhood cancer. The need is urgent: a study found 77% of parents caring for a child with cancer reported anxiety, while nearly half reported worsened financial situations post-diagnosis. Molina’s latest grant will support NNCCF in assisting roughly 150 families a year with tailored services to navigate medical, household, educational and transportation needs amid treatment.
