Can cold spray 3D printing really replace traditional metal casting? At Missouri S&T, we think the answer is yes… and we’ve got the data to back it up. At RAPID + TCT 2025 and the 2025 CSAT/LSAAT conference, our team’s Manufacturing Operations Manager, Bradley Deuser, presented new research that introduces practical design rules for Cold Spray Additive Manufacturing (CSAM), aimed at improving reliability and reducing cost. The team developed a geometry-based framework that helps engineers avoid common defects in thin-walled components. With these rules, we’re making CSAM more predictable, more scalable, and more accessible for real-world applications in aerospace, defense, and beyond. 👉 Read the full story here: https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.plnkd.in/gEEA-se5 #AdditiveManufacturing #ColdSpray #CSAM #RAPID2025 #CSATLSAAT #ManufacturingInnovation #MST #SolvingForTomorrow
