  • Hurricane season may have arrived earlier this month, but at MedShare, preparation for it and other potential natural disasters began many months, even years ago. A threat on the horizon simply serves to remind us why we must not only brace for the unknown but be fully prepared for it year-round. Our commitment to our mission of helping to provide access to healthcare—even in the wake of natural and humanitarian disasters—demands constant readiness, innovative thinking, and strategic partnerships. Our House is a lifeline for Atlanta’s most vulnerable. Our House, Inc's integrated community health clinic delivers nurse-led, no-cost healthcare services to thousands of children and adults each year who often face multiple systemic barriers to healthcare. MedShare has proudly supported Our House since the clinic’s opening, recognizing a shared commitment to addressing social determinants of health through tangible clinical and community-level support. This partnership exemplifies MedShare’s broader effort to reduce health disparities in the U.S. by equipping under-resourced clinics with quality medical supplies, equipment, and biomedical support. Because of you, 2024 was extraordinary. 💫 In a world where it’s getting harder for kids to access care, your support helped us double our missions, reach 10 countries, and provide life-changing surgeries to 451 children. 💜 Our teams put in over 5,800 volunteer hours, not just mending kids, but training local surgeons and building surgical capacity where it’s needed most. 🏥 In times like these, organizations like ours still show up and make a difference, because people like you believe every child deserves a healthy future. 🦋 Our 2024 Annual Report is live! Read the stories, see the faces, and feel the impact you made. https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.plnkd.in/ggAhj8fY 💙 #MendingKids #GlobalHealth #SurgicalCare #HopeInAction #Impact #Nonprofit #GiveBack #ForTheKids

  • For over two decades, MedShare's mission has been rooted in compassion and equity—working with our partners to improve access to quality healthcare for low-income, uninsured, and underinsured mothers across the U.S. and around the world. Today, on Mother’s Day, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and love of mothers everywhere—and recommit to the work of ensuring they have the healthcare support they need and deserve. A special thank you to the wonderful volunteers from our longtime partner in health, UPS and the UPS Foundation, who came together to assemble Clean Birthing Kits for mothers in healthcare-challenged communities across the globe—offering not just essentials for a sanitary birth, but a message of health and hope. #MothersDay #GlobalHealth #MaternalHealth #HealthEquity #UPS #UPSFoundation #MedShareCares

I specialize in building social impact partnerships and fundraising alliances that strengthen communities, engage employees and inspire consumers to act. Bringing companies and causes together to create a better world!

It's a wrap - UPS, The UPS Foundation, and 60+ UPSers representing several Business Resource Groups - brought their diverse voices and perspectives to create 1,197 life-saving Clean Birthing Kits that MedShare will share with our humanitarian aid partners around the world in our ongoing effort to reduce maternal and infant health disparities. These World Health Organization-sanctioned kits help create a sanitary and safe birth environment for women in marginalized communities who often give birth outside of a medical facility. Each kit has the potential to save two lives - the mother and newborn. It is reasonable to expect that the combination of domestic and international funding cuts will result in widening health disparities, making it even more challenging to contain global health threats and maintain basic healthcare standards in underserved areas. While the impacts are not yet apparent, the situation could escalate rapidly if unprepared. I'm thankful for all our partners, especially Alice Turner and Patrick Smith, who continue to support our preparedness effort and amplify our mission! #Deliverwhatmatters #motivation #leadership #CSR

  • MedShare is proud to support Georgia Charitable Care Network and the work of the amazing charitable healthcare providers they represent. Once again, we're honored to take part in GCCN's 20th Annual Conference alongside free and charitable clinics who relentlessly seek to remove barriers to care for over a quarter of a million under- and uninsured Georgians. Inspired by the stories of those we met at last year's conference, we have doubled the number of Georgia clinics we now serve and couldn't be more excited to continue to expand our efforts to help amplify their impact. #GCCN #HealthcareAccess #safetynet #MedShareCares

May is Women’s Health Month—a time to recognize the vital importance of accessible, equitable healthcare for women everywhere. For over 20 years, MedShare has partnered with our charitable healthcare partners to strengthen maternal health programs in the U.S. and around the world. These programs are lifelines for low-income and uninsured women, delivering essential care before, during, and after pregnancy. But today, these lifelines are at risk. Cuts in federal funding—particularly in humanitarian aid and health services—threaten to dismantle the very programs that serve the most vulnerable. The impact on maternal health outcomes will be immediate and devastating if we don’t act. Now more than ever, we must stand behind the charitable healthcare providers who make this work possible. This Women’s Health Month, let’s honor women not just in words, but through sustained investment in their health and well-being. Support. Advocate. Act.
