#Lionsgate Interns made an impact across LA during Intern Impact Day, giving back while building connections. One group volunteered with The Salvation Army in Santa Monica, assembling snack bags and serving lunch to unhoused clients. Another group supported 826LA’s summer writing camp and accompanied students on a field trip to the Griffith Observatory. #LionsgateLife

#InternSpotlight: Hi! My name is Valentina Richarz. I’m currently interning in the TV, Scripted Development department for Lionsgate Canada. I’ll be graduating from the RTA Media Production program at Toronto Metropolitan University this Fall with a specialization in Screenwriting and Video Production. My future goals include becoming a showrunner and starting my own production company. I love all things related to comedy, fashion, TV, and film.   This experience provides the opportunity to refine my sense of tone and genre, the art of pitching, and my approach to considering projects through both creative and commercial lenses. I’m incredibly excited and grateful to work alongside the wonderful Scripted team while gaining a deeper understanding of the development process! -Valentina

#InternSpotlight: Hi! I’m Hannah Etienne, and I’m a rising senior studying Creative Producing at Chapman University. I have a Public Relations minor, and finished my French minor when I studied abroad in Cannes last year. I’m originally from the Chicago suburbs and I’m currently Miss Illinois!   This summer, I’m having a blast learning how to evaluate and develop scripts with the MPG Development & Production team. As an Academy Gold Rising intern, I’m also meeting incredible people and learning so much about the industry at panels and events! I look forward to continuing to strengthen the connections I’ve made with my team and fellow Lionsgate interns! -Hannah
