On July 10, the newest ships in our Galápagos fleet—National Geographic Gemini and National Geographic Delfina—were officially named in a heartfelt ceremony that was rooted in community, purpose and pride. This special day, which brought all four ships in the fleet together for the first time, honored multigenerational members of the Galápagos community and celebrated Lindblad Expeditions’ nearly 60-year commitment and connection to these extraordinary islands. “Together, we named these two ships not just in ceremony, but in promise—a promise to listen, to learn, to protect, to honor this special place and to carry forward Lindblad Expeditions’ mission,” said CEO Natalya Leahy who was on hand for the dual naming. In this video, watch some of the day’s top moments as you learn more about this momentous celebration.
