This year, Lyceum Kennedy proudly celebrates its 60th anniversary, a significant milestone made possible by the dedication and support of our entire school community. On December 11th, we will be honoring our 60 years of transformative bilingual education that fosters cultural fluency and global citizenship. Stay tuned for pictures and highlights!

We are thrilled to announce that we have secured a 15-year lease for the entire 3rd floor of the 815 2nd avenue building, at the home of our Upper School. This 11,000-square-foot expansion will not only double the size of our upper school but also provide a dedicated floor for our high school.   The whole third floor will be demolished. We have been working with our architectural firm, LB Architects, to design a modern, engaging, and well-equipped high school. This addition will offer new classrooms, a state-of-the-art science lab, a creative art and design lab, and a welcoming student center.     Our move to a brand-new facility, effective September 2025, reflects our renewed commitment to our upper school and to providing our students and staff with the best possible learning and working environment.     In recent years, we have improved our academic offerings at the high school level and are now transitioning into a complete 10th grade pre-IB curriculum in order to prepare our students for success in our IB Diploma Programme in grades 11th and 12th.     Our IB diploma can now be pursued in English, French or a combination of the two. In addition, our 11th grade has expanded the variety of courses offered. We have added new courses in standard and high levels: Global Politics, Business Management, and Physics. In doing so, we have given our students the ability to control their higher education careers by choosing courses that match their skills and aspirations.     We are thrilled to see this project come to life!

It was our true honor to host a meet-and-greet on Thursday, November 7, organized by UFE-NY and its President, Dr. Gérard Epelbaum, with Senator Evelyne Renaud - Garabedian, who represents French citizens living abroad. This dynamic and informative session provided a wonderful opportunity for conversation and Q&A with New York’s French community. We are very grateful for the rich exchange that took place on our campus. Our upper school class delegates also had the privilege of meeting with Senator Evelyne Renaud - Garabedian at the Consulate of France in New York on Friday, November 8. This was a fantastic opportunity for our students, and they embraced it to the fullest!
