Meet Tom! In 2012 Tom joined J.B. Hunt as a driver and just a few years later he was selected as the 2016 Driver of the Year. Reaching this milestone in such a short time was impressive, but even more impressive is what he did with the bonus from that award. He used it to adopt two children and start a family! Now, Tom works as a senior manager in operations and runs one of our largest Dedicated Contract Services accounts. We are so inspired by Tom’s story and are thankful to help provide opportunities for our people!

Our newest employee resource group, ABLE (Abilities Beyond Limits and Expectations), aims to support and empower individuals with visible and invisible disabilities, as well as caregivers and advocates, while emphasizing that importance of mental well-being through a shared community. Nate, a client manager at J.B. Hunt, said this about the importance of ABLE, “As a caregiver to a child with a disability, a lot of times you’re thinking about the things that you have to do to help them and trying to make sure that they’re taken care of. One thing I’m excited about with ABLE is the community aspect and just being able to help others.”
