🏗️ CFS10 at the UCSD Shake Table: Engineering Insight in Action Over the last several weeks, Nick Sommerfeld and I had the unique privilege of supporting the CFS10 team with the investigation of building damage sustained during four full-scale earthquake simulations: 🟢 Service Level Earthquake (SLE) 🟡 Design Earthquake (DE) 🔴 Two Maximum Credible Events (MCEs) Our role focused on detailed damage investigations—from flat strapping behavior at shear walls to minor gypsum wallboard damage and other nonstructural component performance.
