Over 20 ICI Services Employees Successfully Complete CompTIA Data+ Training and Certification ICI Services is proud to announce that more than 20 of its employees have successfully completed CompTIA Data+ training following an intensive four-day course held in April. This achievement underscores ICI Services' continued investment in workforce development and commitment to data literacy across the organization. The CompTIA Data+ certification validates knowledge and skills in data mining, analysis, visualization, and data governance — critical capabilities in today’s data-driven decision-making environments. “This accomplishment reflects our team's dedication to growing their professional capabilities and staying ahead in an increasingly data-centric landscape,” said Mike Amenti, Operations Center Manager at ICI Services. “By equipping our employees with industry-recognized certifications like CompTIA Data+, we’re not only enhancing individual careers but also strengthening our company’s ability to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.” The four-day training provided employees with hands-on learning experiences and expert instruction, culminating in the opportunity to earn a globally recognized certification. The initiative was part of ICI Services’ broader professional development program aimed at empowering employees with cutting-edge skills and fostering a culture of continuous learning. ICI Services congratulates all participants on this milestone and looks forward to the positive impact their enhanced skill sets will have on projects and clients across the enterprise.

Junior Analyst Aces Challenge, Wins iStar Award Spencer Shorter, a Junior Financial Analyst, earned an iStar Employee Recognition Award for his outstanding support on ICI’s PMS 377 Business and Financial Management contract. Sr. Financial Analyst Carolyn Maddox, Spencer’s supervisor and Task Lead, described Spencer as an eager learner who excelled when she asked junior employees to develop a metric that captured the story of the data they provide. She nominated Spencer for the iStar. “Spencer rose to the challenge and created a three-year trend analysis that, honestly blew me away.” Carolyn said. “After providing feedback about the information and pointing out that there were a few areas on the report trend line that were at 100% but then dipped down a few times, Spencer revised the trend analysis and provided one of the most impressive data metrics that actually told the story.” Spencer not only excelled on her challenge, his report may be utilized across both LPD and LHA platforms, she said. ICI President Greg Bryant was pleased to present Spencer’s award on Tuesday, May 27, at the ICI Services Corporate Office in Virginia Beach, VA. “The iStar Program gives us the chance to recognize Employees who are making a difference to our customers, clearly demonstrating the value that they add to the customer.” Greg said. Congratulations Spencer. Job well done. ICI Services President Greg Bryant, left, presents an iStar Award to Spencer Shorter.

Data Scientist’s Radar Test Support Earns iStar Award Christian Prosser hasn’t been on the job long, but his expertise, innovation and customer care have already earned him an iStar Employee Performance Award. Christian is a data scientist on ICI’s Code 80 Contract supporting the Naval Architecture and Engineering Department. In just six months, he became a key contributor to the Navy Test and Evaluation environment. Christian was instrumental in supporting a sizable radar test on Unmanned Surface Vehicles. He analyzed and reported the results and co-authored the Test Report. During the post-test analysis, he demonstrated mastery of the analytical software tools used and proposed innovative ideas to enhance analysis and reporting capabilities. Christian’s machine learning background positioned him as a vital resource in planning these tests, earning recognition from Dr. Matthew Foster of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division. On May 27, 2025, Christian was presented an iStar Employee Performance Award by ICI Services Corporation President Greg Bryant and Chief Technology Officer Dr. Tomi Adetunji. Dr. Tomi said that Christian’s intelligence, curiosity and creative approach consistently yield great ideas, making him “a pleasure to work with and an invaluable asset to our team.” Bryant added, “ICI Services is pursuing work in the unmanned and autonomous field as the Navy is focusing on this type of capability. Having someone with Christian’s background is incredibly important to ICI Services.” Photo: ICI Services Corporation President Greg Bryant, left, and Chief Technology Officer Dr. Tomi Adetunji, right, present iStar Award to Christian Prosser
