It’s hard to believe it’s been almost five years (!) since Raj Mehra, Ellen Johnston, and I started Sage. We’ve built a category-defining platform that’s improving the lives of older adults and the people who care for them. Along the way, we’ve assembled a world-class team of kind, entrepreneurial craftspeople. I couldn’t be prouder of the work we’re doing or how we’ve stayed true to our values as we grow. As we scale, I’m looking for a VP of Software Engineering to help lead this next chapter. The team is strong: collaborative, thoughtful, and high-performing, with a solid foundation to build on. This role isn’t about fixing problems—it’s about helping us grow with intention, maintain our fabulous culture, and navigate the increasing complexity of our product and organization. I’m looking for someone who brings technical credibility and operational excellence, and who knows how to build high-trust, high-performance teams. The right person will be a leader others are excited to follow—someone who’s been through the fire of scaling products and organizations, and who can move fluidly from strategy to the weeds when needed.
