Connecting with our community, one terrarium at a time! 🌱 Yesterday, our team hit the road with a workshop hosted at the GuideOne Insurance and The Mutual Group campus! We are so thankful for the opportunity to bring a piece of the Botanical Garden to you all- giving staff a chance to step away from their desks, get their hands dirty & find their true nature! It was a pleasure to share our mission of exploring, explaining, and celebrating the world of plants with people 🌼

Thank you to the Perennial Plant Association and to everyone who joined us in kicking off the 2025 National Symposium! It was a pleasure to welcome you all and share our little slice of paradise in the heart of downtown Des Moines.  We hope that the tour gave you a fresh perspective on what’s possible with plants in an urban oasis, and maybe even sparked some new inspiration! Flynn Wright’s creativity shined bright on June 18, in spite of mother nature’s gloomy skies! 🍋🌟 Guests and clients at the Summer Soiree were welcomed to an Italian Countryside in downtown Des Moines. The night included tours of the new Flynn Wright Studio, custom canvas tote bags from P&M Apparel and a stop at the 'market' for Tuscan inspired herbs, fruits, vegetables & even coffee from Zanzibar's. The Greater Des Moines Botanical is grateful for all the beautiful work done for the dome by this incredible agency. Toasting the talented folks who made the magic happen! 🥂
