Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Bluestone Equity Partners team to lead mock interviews with participants in our Youth Pathways Program. These young individuals are actively job-seeking, and the session provided a meaningful opportunity to practice real-world interview skills and build confidence.  One participant even had an interview scheduled just days after the session, making the timing of this mock interview especially valuable. Yesterday, participants from our behavioral health programs had the incredible opportunity to visit Morgan Stanley's office for a career-building workshop as part of Morgan Stanley’s Global Volunteer Month. Facilitated by Goodwill NYNJ Board Member Atul Dalmia, the event paired participants one-on-one with Morgan Stanley volunteers who provided personalized support; reviewing resumes, offering guidance on cover letters, sharing career advice, and conducting mock interviews. The day wrapped up with a shared lunch, giving everyone a chance to connect and reflect. We’re grateful to Morgan Stanley and their dedicated team for investing their time, expertise, and compassion into helping our participants prepare for meaningful employment. We are filled with gratitude following the incredible success of this year’s Goodwill Gala!   Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, partners, and community, we raised an astounding $586,000 in support of our mission building a more inclusive employment movement that empowers New Yorkers of all abilities and backgrounds to thrive and ensure no talent is left behind.
