A/B Testing Software
Eppo helps companies unlock growth and encourages an entrepreneurial culture with a trusted platform for randomized experiments. It talks directly to your data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift) and lets your analysts define metrics in familiar SQL. With our advanced statistics features, experiments analyzed on the Eppo platform lead to decisions more quickly than traditional A/B tests.

Eppo is now a part of Datadog 👏🏻 I came on board to help scale Eppo's growth and set the stage for this kind of outcome, and it’s been incredible to see all our momentum turn into this major milestone. A huge congratulations to our Eppo team, we did it! I have to hand it to our leadership team at Eppo, Chetan Sharma, Hang Le, Eric Metelka, Youssef Francis, John Knudsen, Lucy Xu, Cameron Huang, on driving this acquisition forward. It was so great working on this together. And a shout out to my amazing marketing team on the incredible work they've done. Ryan Lucht will be joining Datadog to ensure our mission continues. As for Katie Petriella (SEO Specialist), CJ T. (Sr. PMM), Jake Reidland (Inbound SDR/RevOps), Vishal Agarwala 🌴 (Senior Webflow Developer), and Ryan Cala (Senior Brand Designer) if my network has opportunities for them to explore, they have my strongest recommendation! This acquisition says a lot about the experimentation space that I've worked in for my last 3 companies. It's an exciting step forward in ensuring experimentation and feature management aren't just a 'nice-to-have', they're a 'need-to-have' essential in your tech stack. Innovation started with Eppo. Datadog is making sure it doesn't stop. As for me, I'm excited to support Eppo x Datadog through this transition! That being said, I'm a startup marketer at heart, so I've accepted a new position with a startup I'll announce in the coming days (stay tuned)...

Major news: Eppo is now part of Datadog! This acquisition will drive learning velocity for all Eppo customers, equipping them to expand experimentation across their organizations. With visibility into how any design, product, or technology change impacts the customer experience, teams will be able to connect engineering work to business outcomes—breaking down silos and enabling a culture of velocity and accountability. Eppo customers will continue to receive the same experience, support, and services. Users will still log in to Eppo, now branded as Eppo by Datadog. We’ll be building a new vision for experiment-centric product development that combines Datadog’s expertise in observability with Eppo’s expertise in experimentation. We’ll be working closely with the Datadog teams building Product Analytics, Real User Monitoring, and Data Observability. Does it matter what geolift package to use to measure incrementality in marketing test? In the past months Demetri Pananos Ph.D and I have been hard at work tuning our statistics engine for estimating incrementality with Eppo. Now that we have a good number of experiments completed, we figured it would be fun to see how our model compares against the most popular open source packages on actual data. The plot below highlights four such examples. Conclusion: it certainly does matter, and we feel pretty good about what we've put together 😃
