Met a US based broker that makes $2-5M/year pnl doing primary & secondary market concert/sports ticket arbitrage. (6 years in business). They want to hire a Data Scientist/Quant from banking/hedgefund world to build their data/modeling stack and take their game to the next level. Kind of a funky opportunity for us, but they believe someone from Quant/Banking finance who wants to work in Miami/Remote with much less stress and way less hours could dig it. I think they're right. Pays $150k-$250k base + 20-30% bonus year 1 and could easily scale up comp for someone who can significantly impact pnl. It's greenfield in that this person will build their stack to their own liking, and could become their primary growth catalyst going forward for the firm. Open to early or mid career folks.
