Continuing to check-in on our community bookshelves that allow kids and families FREE access to books in our community. Visit any of these community bookshelves and take FREE kids' books home with you. We will work with our stewards to replace any inventory. Several years ago when I served as a vendor for the OST Symposium, very few people had heard of the Kids' Book Bank. Today, I had the opportunity to reconnect with so many partners and talked with many folks who have been working with the Kids' Book Bank over the last few years! Partners shared: "We LOVE the Kids' Book Bank! I tell our team to order especially for literacy month. Plus, it's free, so why not?!" "Yes! I saw the books all of the time when I was at the doctor's office!" "I see you on Facebook!" We hope word continues to spread about this FREE resource for our partners to help kids and families build their home libraries.
