We love these cozy gifts that remind us that our community stands with every family on this journey. This month, we’re celebrating Carl, who has logged an impressive 245+ volunteer hours in our Healthcare Technology Management department. When he’s not helping out with equipment and supplies at Children’s Mercy, Carl is an artist and YouTuber who encourages his followers to make positive affirmations a part of their day. Carl volunteers through our PAVE (Providing Accessible Volunteer Experiences) program and hopes to pursue employment with us in the future. As Feeding Team Coordinator, Rachel is often the first point of contact for families navigating complex feeding challenges. Her compassion, cultural sensitivity and commitment to education help more than 300 new GI patients each year feel supported and empowered. Rachel is a leader, innovator and advocate for patients.
