As we prepare for the launch of Park Place Live next week, I am excited to announce Capital Funding Group (CFG) will sponsor the Park View section of the new platform I am leading with Zimmet Healthcare Services Group, LLC. This is great news! CFG will also be the HUD sponsor related to self-contained HUD content. Park View is where I share weekly video content on issues impacting the industry. You may know CFG as Jack Dwyer’s company and the leading HUD lender in long-term care. It’s so fitting that CFG is a main sponsor. For the last 15 years I’ve been begging providers to get their loans to HUD. It’s no coincidence that this is the strategy of virtually all successful long-term care operators. The rates are lower, the amortization schedules are longer, and THERE IS NO PERSONAL GUARANTEE. Most providers listened. Some, however, missed a 10-year insanely low-rate window and lost out on a golden opportunity. But the window is slowly opening again! Rates are starting to get better. On top of HUD offerings, CFG has been a massive help to the sector over the years. For example, Jack called me one day, in the depth of the pandemic, and asked what he could do. We chatted for a bit, and he volunteered to give $500,000 to AHCA to start a new media campaign. This motivated other vendors and our members and led to a $10 million initiative to defend the industry. Jack started it all! I’m so pleased to be working with Jack and CFG again with Park Place. You can expect to see lots of content from CFG on the HUD program and how you can jump through the HUD window that is opening again. We launch 08.13.25!
