Zendaya—the Emmy-winning actress, singer, and style icon known for Euphoria, Dune, and her red carpet influence—is making her first move into sneaker design. She’s teamed up with Swiss performance brand On and her longtime stylist Law Roach to create the ‘Cloudzone Moon’. As part of the brand’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection, the shoe reimagines On’s popular ‘Cloudzone’ model with breathable mesh, extra forefoot padding, and the brand’s signature CloudTec® cushioning. Styled by Roach and shot by Bardia Zeinali and Emily Lipson, the accompanying “Be Every You” campaign leans into themes of duality and self-expression. The ‘Cloudzone Moon’ comes in three colorways—Ivory/Wolf, Black/Dew, and Lavender/Lilac—and sells for $180. It launched August 7, with another version, the ‘Cloudtilt Moon,’ set to release October 2. Palantir Technologies is the top-performing stock of 2025—after holding that same title in 2024. The government-focused AI and data analytics firm has seen its stock price surge more than 160% this year, after jumping over 90% in 2024. That momentum has helped push its market cap to roughly $430 billion. Founded in 2003 by Stephen Cohen, Peter Thiel, Alex Karp, and Joe Lonsdale, Palantir started by applying PayPal’s fraud detection strategies to national security. Today, it operates across defense, intelligence, and the private sector — with AI as the driving force behind its continued rise, even among other big gainers like GE Vernova and Texas Pacific Land Corporation. Netflix isn’t just the most valuable entertainment company—it’s miles ahead of the competition. The company brought in $41.6 billion in revenue over the past year (up from $39 billion in 2024). Its Q2 earnings beat expectations thanks to Squid Game finale's 122 million views and Happy Gilmore 2's debut—which set a platform record with 46.7 million U.S. views during opening weekend. The company continues to lean into live content, grow its ad‑supported tier, and explore AI tools. (via companiesmarketcap.com)

NVIDIA’s rise hasn’t just made headlines—it’s minted millionaires. According to a recent internal survey, nearly 80% of employees now have a net worth of at least $1 million. About half say they’re worth more than $25 million. That kind of wealth creation is rare, even in Silicon Valley. It all stems from Nvidia’s long-running stock program, which lets employees buy shares at a discount. As the company’s value skyrocketed during the AI boom, so did the fortunes of the people behind it. (via Yahoo Finance)

Nestlé remains the top player in global food, and it’s tightening its focus. The company is reviewing its vitamins unit, weighing a sale of its water brands like Perrier, and just invested nearly $89 million into instant coffee production. Goldman Sachs is also set to invest in Froneri, Nestlé’s ice cream joint venture, in a deal valuing it at over $17 billion—a move that fits Nestlé’s shift toward high-growth categories. With over 2,000 brands, Nestlé’s biggest names include Nescafé, KitKat, Maggi, Gerber, and Purina. Coffee and pet care are leading the way as the company leans into health, nutrition, and premium offerings. (via companiesmarketcap.com)

OpenAI’s valuation has skyrocketed over 1,600% since 2023—from $29 billion to as high as $500 billion. It’s now reportedly in talks for a multi-billion dollar stock sale that would let employees sell some of their shares, with Thrive Capital and others said to be interested. The move could also help OpenAI keep top talent from jumping to rivals like Meta and Anthropic. All this comes as momentum keeps building: 700 million weekly users on ChatGPT, GPT-5 on the way, and ongoing questions about Microsoft’s influence and OpenAI’s long-term structure.
