Supporting patients goes beyond treatment...it includes compassion, advocacy, and emotional care. We’re proud to collaborate with Eisai US, whose values align closely with our mission. #AOSW2025 #OncologySocialWork #LifeAtEisai
Supporting the emotional and practical needs of people impacted by cancer is a critical part of oncology care. Attending the 2025 AOSW Annual Conference, “Unite to Ignite: Cultivating Connections,” served as a reminder to lead with intention when caring for patients, families and care partners. We’re grateful for the oncology social workers whose dedication makes a meaningful difference to help improve cancer care. #LifeAtEisai

Spotted at #AOSW2025: We’re proud to share that Carrie Panzer, LCSW, was recently featured in the Hematology Horizons Vlog Series by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Filmed live at our Annual Conference, Carrie was interviewed by Elissa Baldwin, MA, LLS’s Director of National Patient Education — and AOSW even gets a special shoutout in the intro! This collaboration highlights the meaningful work and connections happening within our community. 📺 Watch the full episode here: https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.pbit.ly/4kmFxl5

Grateful to have attended and presented at this year’s AOSW Annual Conference, a powerful gathering of oncology social workers committed to advocacy, equity, and compassionate care. One of the highlights of my time there was co-presenting with the incredible Megan-Claire J. Chase, a passionate patient advocate and breast cancer survivor. Together, we explored the lived experiences of patients and social workers navigating cancer and the essential role of culturally responsive support. Many thanks to my colleagues at City of Hope Atlanta for their incredible support! Here’s to continued collaboration, elevating patient narratives, and pushing the field toward more inclusive and equitable cancer care. #AOSW2025 #OncologySocialWork #CancerSupport #PatientAdvocacy #SocialWorkLeadership

I was fortunate to receive an AOSW Scholarship, allowing me the opportunity to attend their annual conference last week. It was an incredible experience networking with other social workers and learning different ways to support patients, family members and colleagues. I will become more involved with this organization!

We were honored to join ZERO Prostate Cancer at the NYSE to spotlight Men’s Health Month and the fight against prostate cancer. AOSW President Linda Mathew represented oncology social workers in this important moment of advocacy and awareness. #MensHealthMonth #CancerAwareness #OncologySocialWork #BlitzTheBarriers #ZEROProstateCancer
Wall Street could help end one of the deadliest men’s health crises of our time. Today, we were proud to recognize Men’s Health Month by ringing the Opening Bell at the New York Stock Exchange, joined by our Blitz the Barriers Lead Founding Partner, Novartis US Pharmaceuticals Corporation. As the nation’s number one provider of prostate cancer resources, we are honored to represent the over 3 million men living with prostate cancer and bring national attention to this fight. Every two minutes, a man in the U.S. is diagnosed with prostate cancer. Every 15 minutes, another dies from it. This disease is too big to ignore. This year, we launched Blitz The Barriers, the most ambitious prostate cancer initiative in U.S. history. Our Goal: Save 100,000 lives by 2035 by delivering life-saving education, community and patient intervention, resources, and care to those hardest hit. This is more than a moment. It’s a national call to ensure every man, everywhere, has a fair chance to survive.
