Inspiring journey from patient to nurse 💙 Meet La’Dymond Shepherd, Licensed Practical Nurse at AdventHealth. After losing her vision to Acanthamoeba keratitis, a rare parasitic infection, La’Dymond spent two years in darkness. Thanks to life-changing surgery at AdventHealth, she regained her sight and a new perspective. Now, as a team member, she’s giving back the same compassionate care that changed her life.
