20 years, 999+ mixes. All under one roof for the first time. Our weekly RA Podcast series began way back in March 2006 with Troy Pierce, AKA RA.001. (Troy, if you’re out there: 🫡) From then, DJ mixes from some of the world's best, brightest and most notable dance and electronic artists have arrived every Monday, like clockwork. Yet we've never been able to let you listen to them all in one place. Until today. The entire RA Podcast is now available in one place, spanning RA.001 to last week's multiple RA.999s. Each mix is navigable by edition, artwork, era and more, with custom lists tallying hundreds of hours of quality music. We've pulled a few standouts here. But, of course, this barely scratches the surface. The only way is to dive in and dig through the definitive living archive of modern DJ culture—a lifetime of sound to explore. Beginning Monday 11th, we’ll roll out a week of special new mixes to mark the series turning 1000. After that? A fresh start. A new survey on London's nightlife has been launched by the London Nightlife Taskforce in partnership with VibeLab. The survey explores key issues such as safety, inclusivity, cultural vibrancy and sustainability across the city's clubbing scene. Insights gathered will help shape a public report later this year, with recommendations to be shared with policymakers and cultural leaders. As Lutz Leichsenring from VibeLab explains: "We want to map the full nighttime experience in London — from DJs and performers to hospitality staff and cleaners. This is a chance for everyone involved to share what's working, what isn't, and what should change."Established earlier this year, the London Nightlife Taskforce brings together 11 members committed to supporting and strengthening the city's nighttime economy. Have your say and help shape the future of London nightlife. https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.plnkd.in/eaSTzwNV

The most fearless DJ on earth. Our 2025 summer cover star: ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U Who has a story to match Yousuke Yukimatsu? A brain cancer survivor, who'd never played a show outside Japan before the age of 37, has become one of the most dynamic performers in electronic music—with runaway momentum behind him. In order to capture the cresting wave of a phenomenon, we're parallel publishing a cover story with an Art of DJing feature and film for the first time. A viral storm catapulted Yukimatsu to ubiquity. Yet much of his life story is still to be told: his background in protest and noise, touring while undergoing chemotherapy and how his bold musical vision was formed. What draws people to him isn't just his technical ability and rockstar energy. It's the magnetic pull of someone who rebuilt their life from the ground up, on their terms. "No matter the location, space or scale," writes RA editor Gabriel Szatan, "a ticket to the ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U experience comes with one guarantee: the person feeling the music most happens to be the one controlling it. All that remains is taking the plunge." We stopped by the AVA Festival London Creators Forum 2025, where a new wave of emerging talent is shaping the sound of tomorrow. Now in its second year, the Creators Forum is part of our ongoing artist development programme for electronic producers and musicians — delivered in partnership with pointblank Music School. This year’s cohort features: BEKEFI, DR MYSTERY, Gerah, LWS, Poser, Reger, Rory Sweeney, Slxm Sol, Stella Z, Vera Sacra - ten emerging artists honing their sound, redefining the future of club culture. We caught up with them to hear what they’re exploring, experimenting with and building together this week as a collective.
