With Neurodiversity Celebration Week in mind, what can People and Talent partners do to drive inclusivity and support within the workplace? A report by City & Guilds for 2025 highlights that 𝟭 𝗶𝗻 𝟯 neurodivergent employees aren't satisifed with support provided to them ⚡ 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀: 📑A staggering 35% stated they had no onboarding support 🎓With 37% of Managers receiving no training and feeling unprepared 🚀35% reporting they felt there were no equal opportunties for promotion 𝗦𝗼; 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀❓ ✅ 1. Ensure a safe space for Neurodiverse or disabled employees and canddidates to disclose their disability. 2. Champion and empower employees to raise awareness within the workplace (if they feel comfortable) or provide talking points or exampls of adjustments for in house workshops. 3. Provide site and work related adjustments where required and work with the individual on providing support bespoke to their needs. And for anyone unsure of the 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗲𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, this refers to neuroogical variations commonly experienced- with 𝟭 𝗶𝗻 𝟳 people in the UK having a form of neuro difference including: -Autism - Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) - Dyslexia - Dyspraxia  - Dyscalculia #neurodiversity #neurodivergent #neuroinclusion #DiversityandInclusion #InclusiveWorkplace #HR #PeopleandCulture
