I am relieved that a tariff deal has, finally, been agreed between the EU and the US. 15% is a significant uplift in cost for our fledgling business against the pre-’Liberation Day’ baseline. However, it is at least a done deal and gives us a runway for continued growth in the US, our biggest market. A protracted negotiation had the potential to inflict untold damage to our business and to the automotive industry as a whole, so it’s positive that we now have clarity. Hoping for a period of stability so that we can just get on with the business of delivering Grenadiers to our customers.

An update for our Grenadier owners in the UK. Earlier this year we began the shift to a franchise model and have been working on how it can best support new and existing customers. We are introducing new retail and servicing locations as part of our UK network restructuring strategy and actively recruiting additional partners to expand the remit of existing ones in key growth areas. We are also in discussions with mobile service providers to deliver additional aftersales support to customers in regions temporarily affected by the recent restructuring of the sales and servicing network. This will ensure that the needs of all customers are met while new partners are introduced in strategic locations across the UK.
