    At #ghd, we create experiences that delight and inspire. Earlier this month, our ghd London HQ proudly hosted our first-ever Skills Studio week. A new 2025 initiative designed to give university students an insider’s view of the beauty tech industry and how our brand operates across teams and functions. Over the course of the week, the students experienced an in-depth look into the business, from innovation during their tour of our Cambridge labs, to hands-on content creation and retail visits. Here’s an overview of what the week involved: 👋 Day 1: Kick-off with a welcome from our CEO, Jeroen Temmerman and introductions to teams across marketing, insights, social, education, digital, finance, HR, operations and a briefing for group presentations at the end of the week. 📸 Day 2: Content creation workshop with the social media team, exploring Soho’s hotspots. 🔬 Day 3: A visit to our in-house research and development labs in Cambridge to learn and see where we craft our award-winning tools. 🛒 Day 4: Project planning and a visit to our leading UK retailers to explore ghd product placement and in-store presence. 📊 Day 5: Students presented what they had been working on throughout the week to our ghd panel at Wella Company HQ. This was a chance for the groups to showcase their thinking on topics ranging from AI to Gen Alpha, bringing their fresh perspectives to real business challenges. A big thank you to the teams that helped organise this new ghd initiative and to those at London and Cambridge who helped support and mentor the students. Earlier this month, our ghd ANZ team hosted a 'Drinks for Pink' event to mark the launch of our annual Pink collection and to help raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF)'s 'Go Pink' fundraising campaign. 💗 With a pretty-in-pink dress code, a pink-themed raffle, and refreshing pink sorbet served to match the shades of our 2025 collection, the event was enjoyed by all. The highlight of the day was hearing from breast cancer survivor, Flavia Kamimura who shared her powerful story, a reminder of just how important our annual Pink Campaign is in raising awareness and supporting early detection.
