About us
The University of Southampton’s Arts and Culture Team oversees a range of activities, across multiple artforms. The team includes our venues, John Hansard Gallery and Turner Sims, which are both Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisations. The University is an important contributor to Southampton’s growing cultural reputation. We strive to make our activity inclusive and accessible, locally relevant and internationally acclaimed. We attract and engage with diverse national and international talent – our students, staff, diverse communities, and the artists we work with. We support innovative practice that brings people together in a unique creative environment.
