Entering summer holidays with an extra kick of chocolate: SKF in Schweinfurt donated 700 chocolate ball bearings to local primary school kids, partnering with the charity organization 'children's table' to distribute them. The chocolate bearings are a seasonal merchandise product and the stock has to be renewed every year. SKF buyer Edda Vorbeck came along with the idea to give them to Pupils in Schweinfurt as a sweet greeting from SKF. The children's table normally serves 350 healthy breakfasts per day to local pupils. Table-founder Stefan Labus said: Maybe chocolate is not healthy, but it tastes good and sometime this, what childrens want." Thus, the pupils in Schweinfurt not only received their annual certificates from school, but also a sweet greeting from SKF for a good start into six weeks of summer holidays #WeAreSKF #ForABetterTomorrow

Gothia Cup 2025 - Wenn Fußball und SKF die Welt verbinden! ⚽ Die SPG SV Garsten/USV St. Ulrich durfte in diesem Jahr ein ganz besonderes Abenteuer erleben: Als Sieger des von SKF Steyr organisierten Meet the World Turniers sicherte sich das Team die Teilnahme am Gothia Cup in Göteborg, dem größten Jugendfußballturnier der Welt. Mit beeindruckender Leistung und großem Einsatz konnten die jungen Fußballtalente mehrere Spiele erfolgreich für sich entscheiden und sich bis in die Playoffs vorkämpfen. Doch das sportliche Ergebnis war nur ein Teil dieser Reise. Im Mittelpunkt stand das gemeinsame Erlebnis: eine atemberaubende Eröffnungszeremonie, spannende Spiele, neue Freundschaften mit Teams aus aller Welt und unvergessliche Eindrücke - ob am Spielfeld oder bei der Paddan-Bootstour durch Göteborgs Kanäle. Diese Woche war weit mehr als nur ein Turnier - sie war ein echtes Fußballabenteuer, das den Teamgeist gestärkt und bleibende Erinnerungen geschaffen hat.
