With over 20 years of experience in account management and commercial leadership across technical and production-driven organizations, Eric knows what it takes to build lasting relationships and deliver solutions that matter. Het afgelopen half jaar heeft Axel zich bij DCD gestort op het ontwikkelen van een nieuwe demonstrator, die we o.a. op de Precisiebeurs willen inzetten als ijsbreker om het gesprek met mogelijke klanten, partners en toekomstige collega's aan te gaan. Het filmpje beneden geeft een sneak peak van dit 'magnetische 🧲 puzzelspel', dat de focus moet gaan weerspiegelen die DCD legt op het verbinden van de wereld van productontwikkeling 📳 en productieontwikkeling 🏭 . Dank Axel van den Heuvel voor je harde werk en fijne aanwezigheid, je zult gemist worden op kantoor/werkplaats. Dear network, I am proud to announce that I have successfully completed my internship period at DCD. The assignment was to realise a new game for the Precisiebeurs where the objective was to create a competitive puzzle game. This project included research into magnetism, mechatronics, software programming, 3D designing, and assembling. To showcase what I have done, there is a small demonstration, without revealing too much, of what I achieved in the past 20 weeks. I would like to thank everyone who supported me at the company during this period. In particular, I would like to thank Stan Rutten for his guidance, expertise, and all the technical insights he provided for me as my supervisor. Momentarily, I have completed the first 3 years of my study and will begin my graduation assignment in February 2026. At DCD, we’ve always valued the long-term, open relationships we have with our customers. For years, we’ve expressed our appreciation with a thoughtful end-of-year gift. I vividly remember how my father, who founded our company 41 years ago, started this tradition. Back then, my brother would personally deliver the gifts to customers’ homes, always with a handwritten note and our best wishes for the new year. Building strong, personal connections with our customers has always been at the heart of what we do. When I joined the company, we proudly carried on this tradition for many years. As our business grew and the number of packages increased, we started working with a delivery service. Still, the gifts were sent to private addresses, always with a personal note. Later, changing times and new rules meant deliveries moved to business addresses instead. While it felt less personal, we adapted as always. During the COVID-19 pandemic we had to pause this cherished tradition. Instead, we decided to do something different – something meaningful. The funds we used for gifts were redirected to support charities focused on vital medical research. Over the years, we’ve quietly chosen causes that resonate deeply – research into diseases that can affect us all. While we’ve never shared this before, this year feels like the right time to let you know. Many of us have been touched, directly or indirectly, by illness. Supporting research that seeks to better understand, prevent, or treat these challenges is incredibly important. We want our customers and partners to understand the thought behind this decision. It’s our way of showing appreciation and giving back – made possible thanks to the trust you place in us year after year. This year, we’re proud to support KWF Kankerbestrijding (Dutch Cancer Society), Nierstichting (Kidney Foundation), and Alzheimer Nederland. On behalf of the entire DCD team, thank you for your trust and cooperation. Na een geslaagde #precisiebeurs2024 is het tijd om de winnaars bekend te maken. We hebben tijdens de beurs veel enthousiaste spelers ontmoet, die allemaal kans wilde maken op de 3D printer! Met een supertijd van 17.39 is de terechte winnaar Albert Tankink. Van harte gefeliciteerd! 🏆 Gister was dan ook het moment om zijn verdiende prijs in ontvangst te nemen. Grand Opening van onze nieuwe DCD-locatie in Arnhem Na bijna 30 jaar met veel plezier op onze locatie in Duiven te hebben gewerkt, zijn we blij te kunnen aankondigen dat we verhuisd zijn naar een nieuwe locatie in Arnhem. Deze stap weerspiegelt onze visie en missie op het gebied van samenwerking en innovatie, met de nadruk op hybride werken. Hybride werken stelt ons in staat om flexibeler en efficiënter samen te werken, ongeacht waar we ons bevinden. Door innovatieve technologieën en nieuwe werkmethoden te implementeren, kunnen we de samenwerking tussen collega’s en partners optimaliseren. Teamuitje bij DCD: Een dag vol avontuur en samenwerking! Afgelopen zaterdag 14 september was het weer tijd voor ons jaarlijkse teamuitje bij DCD! Dit jaar hebben we voor een energieke teambuilding ervaring gekozen. Na onderverdeling in verschillende teams hebben we onze Robinson-skills op de proef gesteld, de onderlinge teamspirit getest met een spannende pot “bubble”-voetbal, en onze precisie verbeterd tijdens de Shooting games. Uiteindelijk hebben we de dag perfect afgesloten met een gezellige BBQ, waarbij alle teams hun ervaringen met elkaar hebben kunnen delen.
