Our first furniture facility is taking shape in North Carolina Last week, SBA Vice President Jolanta Grašienė, SBA Home CEO Jurgita Radzevičė and SBA Home North Carolina CEO Angelika Matczak, introduced SBA Home North Carolina – our first furniture manufacturing facility expansion plans in the United States – to U.S. Senator Ted Budd and his team.   We’re grateful for the Senator’s interest and the support of his office. Full steam ahead with SBA Home North Carolina! LRT and Augustinas Šemelis recently featured a story about the newest member of the SBA Home family in the USA – and we’re proud to see this project picking up more and more momentum! We’re not only celebrating a smooth start, but also confident that right here, in North Carolina, we are writing a new chapter in the story of Lithuanian business abroad. In the LRT interview, our CEO Jurgita Radzevičė shared not only what’s happening today in the construction site, but also what lies ahead: growth, expansion, and an ambitious vision for furniture manufacturing in the U.S. market. “Our plan is to run three shifts, create 250 jobs, and then – scale even further,” said Jurgita. 🚀 Strengthening the Urban HUB team for international expansion! Rolandas Slezas, a seasoned real estate professional with solid experience in developing projects from the first idea to opening day, has been appointed CEO of Urban HUB, a company under SBA Urban. “Urban HUB’s architecture, business synergy, and the ability to combine diverse functions have already earned the market’s trust – 60% of the space in Vilnius and 80% in Kaunas has been leased. A Year of Investment!🚀SBA Group's consolidated sales grew by 5% in 2024, reaching €419 million. According to SBA Vice President Jolanta Grašienė, the main drivers behind this growth were strategic investments in the furniture sector—expanding the product portfolio and improving operational efficiency. “Timely investments in developing new products, boosting efficiency, and automating operations within our furniture business, along with the continued growth of our real estate projects in 2024, had the biggest impact on SBA's performance last year. Furniture sales grew by nearly 7% compared to 2023, and rental income from real estate increased by 23%. Our team is entering this year with the same optimistic outlook,” said Jolanta Grašienė . In 2024, SBA's total investments reached €89 million—a 53% increase compared to 2023. For 2025, we’re planning to invest more than €100 million. The most significant investments were directed toward SBA Urban's development projects—including business campuses in Vilnius and Kaunas Urban HUB, the expansion of the Nemunaičiai district, and seaside developments such as the completion of Kopų slėnis and progress on Vėjo miestelis. New Products and Growing Business! 🚀 In 2024, SBA Group’s furniture sector group – which includes 5 manufacturing plants, a management company, a logistics center, and a robotics company – reached consolidated revenues of €357.2 million. Consolidated operating profit hit €22.4 million, marking a nearly 40% increase compared to 2023. Meanwhile, net profit nearly tripled, reaching €12 million. “A few years ago, as we observed moderate market growth, our SBA Furniture team began preparing for a rebound. Years of focused work on efficiency and process optimization are now bearing fruit. In 2024, we launched new products developed since 2023. This success is the result of consistent efforts by a united, dedicated team,”- says Egidijus Valentinavičius, SBA Vice President and Head of SBA Furniture Group. “2025 has also started on a positive note. Together with the SBA Home team, we continue the momentum we built last year — improving processes, introducing innovative solutions, and launching new products. Early results this year show higher sales than in 2024. Our growth is driven not only by new products but also by rising raw material prices. 🌿 Capitalica Asset Management launched the future of business in Riga! The investment management company of SBA Group has launched the third phase of construction for the VERDE office complex—one of the greenest in Riga—with plans already underway for a fourth phase. More than €70 million will be invested in these new buildings, which will serve as another benchmark for sustainable development in the region. Together, the two upcoming buildings will add 37,000 sq. m. of modern office space to Riga’s business landscape. 🗣 “We plan to offer the greenest and most modern office spaces in Latvia by the end of 2026,” says Andrius Barstys, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Capitalica Asset Management. The six-story office buildings will rise on a 1.1-hectare site, featuring an underground parking garage with 250 car spaces and over 100 bicycle spaces. The architectural concept was developed by award-winning architects Andris Kronbergs and Jānis Zvejnieks from ARHIS Arhitekti. The general contractor, Capitalica Industries, successfully completed the VERDE B building. Colliers Baltics will act as the exclusive leasing partner.
