The launch event was attended by over 100 eminent leaders from the Indian IT industry, underscoring the significance of this development in the country’s digital infrastructure. With this launch, the Pune campus officially became home to five fully operational data centres, delivering over 125 MVA of live IT capacity. Strengthening India’s Digital Future | Strategic Dialogue with Minister Nara Lokesh We are pleased to share that Ritu Mehlawat, Head of Investments, India, STT GDC, met with Shri Nara Lokesh, Hon’ble Minister for Education, IT and Electronics, Government of Andhra Pradesh, during his visit to Singapore. The discussion focused on the vision for Andhra Pradesh as an emerging hub for digital infrastructure and innovation. Minister Lokesh shared plans to establish a robust data ecosystem in the state, and invited STT GDC India to explore opportunities in building next-generation, green energy-powered data centers in Visakhapatnam and beyond. Ritu Mehlawat highlighted STT GDC India's growing presence, with 30 operational data centers across 10 cities and a current critical IT load of 400 MW. Plans are underway to expand capacity to 550 MW, reinforcing our long-term commitment to India’s digital transformation.
