As part of our ongoing commitment to furthering scientific discovery, Oura often partners with leading institutions to support research that promotes a healthier global population. As you may have seen, we are collaborating with the Scripps Research Institute on the Pregnancy Health Study. This study aims to learn how technology, like Oura Ring data, can help predict pregnancy outcomes. We’re inviting eligible Oura members to participate. To qualify, you must: - Be an Oura Member - Be 18 or older - Have been pregnant on or after January 2021 - Have worn your Oura Ring during any part of your pregnancy - Live in the U.S. Participants will complete a ~30-minute survey about their experience and may choose to share their Oura data and connect their Electronic Health Record. The study is fully remote and participants will receive a small thank-you gift card. You may withdraw at any time. The Oura Ring is in orbit again. As part of the Axiom Mission 4, we’ve teamed up with the International Space Station National Laboratory, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Axiom Space to help an astronaut track their sleep and health in space. The Oura Ring will provide the astronaut with near real-time insights using biometric data like  their sleep patterns and heart rate variability. That data will be collected and processed on a smartphone using Oura Enterprise Platform and transferred via the International Space Station’s local network to Booz Allen Hamilton’s EdgeExtend platform - enabling biometric data processing onboard the ISS, instead of sending it back to earth. This means they can get real-time feedback on their health, even while orbiting hundreds of miles above us – a capability that will be increasingly important for future missions, such as those to Mars.
