Vom ersten Unternehmen im Gewerbegebiet zum globalen Automatisierungspartner Dresdens Bürgermeister besucht XENON im Gewerbegebiet Coschütz-Gittersee Letzte Woche hatten wir die Gelegenheit, Jan Pratzka, Bürgermeister für Wirtschaft, Digitales, Personal und Sicherheit der Landeshauptstadt Dresden, gemeinsam mit Anne Uhlemann vom Amt für Wirtschaftsförderung Dresden bei XENON willkommen zu heißen. Im Fokus stand die Entwicklung des Gewerbegebiets Coschütz-Gittersee, in dem XENON 1994 als erstes Unternehmen ansässig wurde. Damals noch ein kaum erschlossenes Areal – heute ein Standort mit besten Voraussetzungen für innovative Industrie. Inzwischen beschäftigen wir hier über 300 Mitarbeitende und nutzen die Flächen intensiv für die Montage und Entwicklung unserer Automatisierungssysteme. Gemeinsam mit XENON-Geschäftsführer Andre Koberg tauschten wir uns über aktuelle Projekte, technologische Trends und die internationale Entwicklung des Unternehmens aus. Beim Rundgang durch die Produktionsflächen wurde deutlich, wie sehr Innovationskraft und regionale Verwurzelung Hand in Hand gehen – und warum XENON heute zu den führenden Anbietern von Automatisierungslösungen für elektronische und mechatronische Produkte zählt. Mit weltweit über 450 Mitarbeitenden an Standorten in Dresden, Suzhou (China) und Querétaro (Mexiko) sowie dem neuen Sales- und Servicestandort in Charlotte (USA) bauen wir unsere internationale Präsenz gezielt weiter aus – nah an unseren Kunden, mit technischem Know-how aus Sachsen. Ein schöner Anlass, um auch auf unser 35-jähriges Firmenjubiläum in diesem Jahr zurückzublicken – und auf die unternehmerische Reise, die XENON Automation seit der Gründung 1990 bis heute geprägt hat. Ein starkes Zeichen für die positive Entwicklung am Standort Dresden – und für die partnerschaftliche Zusammenarbeit zwischen Stadt, Wirtschaft und Industrie, auf der wir auch in Zukunft gemeinsam aufbauen können.
