Several truckloads of office furniture will get a second life! Thanks to our partner Waste to Wonder Worldwide, the surplus furniture at #Apleona’s headquarters is being repurposed instead of ending up in a landfill. “By giving this furniture and equipment a new lease on life, we help reduce carbon emissions, prevent waste, and support charities in underserved communities - including a school, a hospital, and other welfare organizations”, says Constantin Moxter, Head of Sustainability at Apleona. Silvia Cacciavillani is a highly experienced industrial and facility management manager responsible for one of Apleona's most important foreign markets: Italy. The Technische Universität Darmstadt Real Estate Summer Conference, organized in partnership with ZIA Zentraler Immobilien Ausschuss e.V. and CoreNet Global, once again demonstrated its status as Germany’s leading academic event in the field. It presented innovative ideas for the real estate industry, introduced new perspectives, and offered excellent opportunities for high-level networking. The conference also served as a platform for industry exchange between corporates and real estate, culminating in an atmospheric evening reception. Germany's leading bank, Deutsche Bank, has extended its #partnership with Apleona with an agreement until 31 December 2029. The portfolio comprises approximately 825 properties and locations in Germany and Luxembourg. It ranges from the famous towers in Frankfurt (pic below), Deutsche Bank's headquarters, to branches and locations with ATMs, including those of Deutsche Bank's Postbank brand. The #partnership with Deutsche Bank dates back to 2001 and has been continuously expanded and developed over the past 25 years.  Apleona is also supporting Deutsche Bank on its path to #netzero with #decarbonisation and #energy #optimisation services.
