Compared to last year, Kurtz Ersa has increased its overall score by 6 points to 75 points – and was thus able to defend its silver medal in the EcoVadis Sustainability Rating. This puts Kurtz Ersa in the top 3% of companies in the same sector rated by EcoVadis in this year's overall ESG rating! Kurtz Ersa has now taken part in the ESG rating for the fourth time and has improved its overall score from 48 to 75 points and from a bronze to a silver medal. Particularly noteworthy: In the categories “environment” and “labor and human rights”, Kurtz Ersa ranks in the top 1% of the rated companies in our industry with a respective score of 90 and 85 points. The basis for the continuous further development lies in our holistic and international sustainability strategy GoGreen250. A remarkable milestone is the 33% share of self-generated electricity at the Kreuzwertheim and Wertheim sites in 2024, generated by four PV systems and a combined heat and power plant! In addition, the switch to 100% green electricity and 100% biogas at the German sites is making a significant contribution to the reduction of CO2 emissions. The first contact between FDI and Kurtz Ersa France occurred over ten years ago at the Global Industrie trade fair in Paris. In 2016, the first purchase of a selective soldering machine of the type VERSAFLOW 3/45 took place, followed by another purchase in 2017. In 2021, FDI conducted a benchmark to modernize its SMD lines, where the Ersa HOTFLOW technology was convincing.
