Storytelling in live sports isn’t just about what’s on the screen; when creating a captivating experience, sound design is just as important as visuals. At the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup™, our teams operated in multi-purpose stadiums that were not originally designed for football events, focusing on creating an immersive audio to enrich the fan experience beyond what's seen on camera. 👇Read below about HBS at the largest production of a club competition. As project management specialists, the cornerstones of our work are the months and often even years of planning, logistics, coordination and collaboration that go into every project to prepare for the delivery phase. We also know that nothing compares to the atmosphere on site, when the energy of the stadium fills our screens and the team gets together to cover the action and the emotion. We're thrilled to see our producer, Rebecca Howe, enjoying her time on-site! #HBS #BehindTheScenes #ProjectManagement
The dust has just about settled on my first HBS event - I spent 3 weeks in Seattle shooting promos for the FIFA Club World Cup. I had to pinch myself multiple times! An incredible experience and here’s to many more to come with the HBS family 😊 thank you team HBS !

Events today live and breathe beyond the whistle-to-whistle live action and the consumption of event-related content on social platforms is as critical as the visibility of produced promos and trailers for traditional programming. For a major event such as the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 it is vitally important to have an abundance of original, creative and engaging material available for rights holders to use online to promote their broadcast and to bring fans closer to the action. Over the course of the event, content from various strands (pitch-side Digital First, tailored illustrations and graphics and 360° XR clips), created by HBS’ digital arm skroller, generated incredible numbers for views on FIFA and DAZN platforms. Check out some of the statistics below... #fifaclubworldcup2025 #digitalcontent #socialmedia

HBS hat dies direkt geteilt
The sequence that almost didn’t happened. For the Gold Cup final we had an FPV drone and we wanted to squeeze all the juice we could, so we came up with this idea. The concept was to show the walk the players do to get in and out of their lockers. Simple right? Think again. We had to get on the same page 7 different departments from 5 different organizations to get this on the span of 1 day; which we did. After a lot of coordination and negotiation, everything was good to go, but on the go time one of them said no, we won’t do it, literally 2 min before the drone flying…their petition included a new department. I stood there, in front of the locker rooms looking at the roof thinking “I don’t know how but this is going to happen, I’m not drowning in the shore”. So in a last Hail Mary I talked to the last department, told them the problem, said my propose solution and thankfully they agreed to the new term added. Lobbying is not reserved only for politics, it happen in sports events as well. Will the rights holders use it? No idea, but that’s the thing of being a Host Broadcast, you never know but your work is to provide the best product so they can have multiple options for their coverage.
