More than 10,000 aircraft descended upon EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh this year. And we set up our AI-enhanced visual detection system on the ground to detect them. Here are a few clips, sped up by 500%, showing remarkable, if predictable, performance: •Aircraft that the system had never seen were detected. •The system had no problem ignoring cars and people on the ground. •Birds passing through the field of view were tracked, just as the system was designed to do. To explain it all, Daedalean's Head of Data, Ad Eberhard, took to the Oshkosh stage for a talk (https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.plnkd.in/dZ54HYdS) detailing the rigorous collection, analysis, and management of visual data that feeds the AI-enhanced system. He also revealed why Daedalean has commenced a flight campaign to record footage from all 84 American and 44 European ecoregions on its way to gathering similar data from around the world. And why flight safety will improve because of it. Thank you to the heroic AirVenture organizers for yet another magnificent event. Looking forward to next year already! #ArtificialIntelligence #AviationSafety

https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.plnkd.in/df69zvR5 “We are stepping now into the autonomous, unmanned side of aviation, even the military one. We see demand coming up for counter-drone activities, where we also use the same technology and benefit from the certifications because we have assured AI and can actually assure that it’s always giving the same output for a given input and make sure it reaches its target. We are benefiting basically from the material that we have developed for the civil side of aviation, and the USP of Daedalean is to really assure it is doing the right thing.” - Bas Gouverneur in the interview to AeroTime at Paris Air Show, June 2025.

GPS (or, more accurately, GNSS) is vulnerable. A new report from SeRo Systems GmbH documents widespread #GNSS jamming and spoofing incidents across the Baltics and Central Europe, underscoring the growing risks to aviation safety. One promising response: Daedalean's visual navigation system, designed as a GNSS-independent backup. Recently, Moog Inc. successfully integrated and flight-tested this system, demonstrating hands-free navigation—no satellite-based navigation required. (https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.plnkd.in/dHSpxJHV). The threat is real — and so are the solutions. #AviationSafety #GPS
Did you know? More than 22,500 flights have been hit by GNSS spoofing in the Baltics since December 2023, and that number is rising. GNSS jamming and spoofing events are no longer isolated — they are happening daily, disrupting aviation across the Baltics and Central and Eastern Europe. At SeRo, we’ve been working directly with ANSPs, regulators, and operators to detect, analyze, and respond to GNSS interference in real time. Since 2022, we’ve seen: ❗ A sharp rise in high-power jamming across Estonian, Finnish, Polish, Lithuanian, and Latvian airspace ❗ Persistent disruptions to multiple GNSS frequencies critical to PNT services, including the upper L-band (L1, E1, G1, B1) and lower L-band (L5, E5, G3) ❗ Many cases of continuous “circle spoofing”, creating false circular flight paths with radii of 1 to 10 kilometers, severely undermining navigation integrity SeRo’s SecureTrack and GNSS RFI Situation Display track interference, delivering: ✔️ Real-time alerts of jamming and spoofing ✔️ AI-driven GNSS Interference Intensity Maps for instant operational awareness ✔️ Customizable reports, customizable interfaces, and seamless data integration We're proud to work with ANSPs and spectrum regulators to detect and monitor incidents in their airspace. Actionable insights come from proven solutions, real-world deployments, and collaboration with authorities. Read more about our analysis of jamming and spoofing in the Baltics in our new article http://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.pbit.ly/3IeUl89 The more we monitor, share data, and work together, the more we can counter these threats and make our airspace more resilient.

GPS spoofing isn’t a future threat—it’s a current reality. A recent incident involved an airliner's navigation system being spoofed on final approach into Warsaw. The aircraft’s ground proximity warning system was so disoriented, it kept shouting “PULL UP” even at the gate. Amusing? Maybe. Alarming? Definitely. This event highlights the vulnerability of GPS. The industry needs robust, GPS-independent solutions. Now. Daedalean’s visual positioning technology offers a proven alternative, enabling safe, accurate navigation in GPS-denied environments. And it's just one part of Daedalean's Situational Intelligence. Check it out at our web site: daedalean.ai #AviationSafety
