Last week, I had the privilege of ringing the bell to open the Philippine Stock Exchange, commemorating Sun Life's 25th listing anniversary. This milestone is especially meaningful as it coincides with our 130-year anniversary celebrations in the Philippines. New findings from Sun Life Asia Financial Resilience Index 2025 reveal a sobering truth: Inflation is impacting even high-income earners in Singapore. Despite higher earnings, 89% of affluent individuals still feel the pinch of rising prices and just 5% are planning financially beyond the next 10 years.  Additionally, over half of all respondents lack a financial plan extending beyond 12 months highlighting the need for greater education and awareness around long-term financial planning and resilience building. I've just wrapped up an inspiring visit to our International High Net Worth business in Bermuda and Ireland. A highlight of my trip was meeting and engaging with our incredible team. At Sun Life, we love to hear from our Clients and I’m privileged to be able to share Kinoy’s story today. Kinoy fell ill with typhoid and dengue fever but thanks to the guidance of his Sun Life advisor, Suripto, he had purchased an affordable policy that met his needs.
