How do we scale product, teams, and capital beyond LATAM? This question continues to challenge and inspire me—and recently, I had the privilege of exploring it on stage alongside Romero Rodrigues, Managing Partner at Headline, Founder of Buscapé and Carlos Costa, Managing Partner at Valor Capital Group, during an event co-hosted by AWS and JCurve Podcast. Here are a few highlights of our conversation: 🔶 Focus on key, non-negotiable, business choices. For Pismo it meant focus on SaaS platform, multicountry, multicurrency from day one. 🔶 Build a complementary leadership team. Ours had a group of different and unique profiles and had worked together before and after navigating challenges. 🔶 Think global from the ground up. We designed the platform in a way where we could deploy everywhere in the world and a strong foundation, tackling different currencies and languages. The whole system was a set of APIs and could plug building blocks specific to regulations in each region._ Thank you @Olga Maslikhova for the invitation and for the chance to share the stage with such remarkable leaders.
