We are proud to officially launch our Qantas Group 2025–2028 Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). Our Stretch RAP outlines tangible actions over the next three years, including: ➡️ Increase First Nations employment across the Qantas Group by 1.7 per cent, with a focus on career pathways, leadership development and retention. ➡️ A commitment to spending at least $45 million with First Nations businesses. ➡️ Delivering cultural awareness training to 80% of Australian-based employees. ➡️ Strengthening partnerships that support education, culture and economic development. ➡️ Embedding First Nations storytelling in our customer experience. We marked the milestone with a special event featuring our employees, a conversation with our partners from Arnhem Land Fire Abatement (ALFA), as well as CEO of Reconciliation Australia Karen Mundine, and Qantas First Nations Advisor Adam Goodes in attendance. You can find out more about our Stretch RAP here: https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.pbit.ly/4nYcffT

Last week we were proud to recognise a group of extraordinary individuals from across the Qantas Group through our 2025 NAIDOC Awards. Each year, these awards honour the people who are helping to embed reconciliation into the heart of our business by leading with pride, building partnerships, and creating inclusive workplaces where First Nations cultures are valued every day. From the Jetstar team member who brought to life an all-First Nations crewed flight, to the rising star who creates culturally safe spaces for her peers, and the leaders championing community and allyship - every one of this year’s winners embodied this year’s NAIDOC theme: The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy. At Qantas, we know that reconciliation is everyone’s responsibility. Congratulations to this year’s winners 👏

Today is International Women in Engineering Day, shining a light on the inspiring women in the field and encouraging the future generation interested in the industry. Meet Daphne, who has been a member of the Qantas team for 35 years! "I joined Qantas in 1990 after migrating to Australia, and have always enjoyed working on aircraft, especially in the hangar carrying out wiring modifications, and training apprentices in standard wiring practices. I started as an aircraft maintenance engineer (AME), and licensed aircraft maintenance engineer (LAME) across the Boeing 767 and 747, and then A330 aircraft. When Sydney Base Maintenance formed the IFE (in-flight entertainment) section, I joined the crew to look after the Rockwell Collins and then Panasonic systems. Since last year I've been involved with the Cabin Focus team, looking after the IFE systems across our fleet. My most memorable moment was when I got to join the flight crew on the charter flight to Antarctica flying on the 747-400. I had to install the flight deck camera and intercom, pairing it with the IFE system. The view of Antarctica from the flight deck was awesome. It was such a great opportunity to see the amazing work that the pilots do in flight, and some incredible views!" - Daphne, LAME Avionics #INWED #INWED25
